🥼 Scientist working on colloids, nanooptics, plasmonics and molecules at interfaces to enable sensing, display and function at the nanoscale—but simple.

I am interdisciplinary trained at the interface between chemical reaction engineering, material science, physics, and physical chemistry. My research results and activities can be grouped into three main areas of experience in the fields of soft-matter, nanooptics and nanotechnology: I) The self-assembly of molecules and particles to achieve functional materials in 2D and 3D; II) (Colloidal) lithography and advanced nanofabrication for complex plasmonic, optical, (opto)electrical and catalytically applications; and III) understanding optical properties of complex nanophotonic and plasmonics systems.”
